The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions on our website. The placement of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future use. We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.
Making A Purchase
Browse our catalogue and click on "add to cart" at any item that you wish to buy and it will be placed in your shopping cart. Once you have finished your selection, click on "checkout now" and you will be asked for your details. You can also place an order by phone at 01224 824164 . You will be sent an order confirmation by email or letter when we receive your order but this does not confirm availability.
We accept any credit card or debit card payment. The company accepting the payment is Alaris Aberdeen LTD and that is what will appear on your statement Cheques are accepted but allow 10 days for clearance. Any errors in receipts or payments will be rectified within 5 working days of our agreeing to correct them.

Description of Goods
As all the products that we sell are of a technical nature it is not practical to publish a detailed specification of all the products. All images, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising on our website are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods. All specifications given to the Customer are approximate and intended as a guide only. We do not accept responsibility for any preparation work based on such specifications.

All product specifications, images and other information published on our website have either been made accessible by suppliers, manufacturers, publications, publicists, or been gathered from public-domain sources. Our intention is that all information on the website should be as accurate and up to date as possible. However, we cannot guarantee the reliability or the accuracy of the information contained within its pages. Any action taken by the user of this website remain the responsibility of the individual.
Payment and Price
The total price payable for the goods will be stipulated at the time when you place your order whether or not the order has been confirmed. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our suppliers prices, or the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been confirmed. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order. All prices on our website are inclusive of VAT and of delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time of placing your order, unless stated otherwise.
Typographical Errors
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information from our suppliers, taxes or duty changes, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed.
Availability of Goods
All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.
Acceptance of delivery Shipping And Handling
Delivery times vary however products are usually delivered within 3-10 working days from stock. This does vary so for advance delivery details email our sales office. For any product that has to be specially ordered you will be advised of the likely delivery date and will be given the option to cancel the order if it will take too long to complete.Contracts not completed within 30 days can be cancelled by either party. Refunds will be processed within 5 days. We will only deliver goods to the address on the order and goods will not be left without a signature. Assistance may be required with unloading of heavy or large items and we only deliver to the ground floor unless by special arrangement. As soon as we have delivered the goods to your door you will be responsible for them. From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk.
ON DELIVERY PLEASE THOROUGHLY INSPECT THE GOODS AND REPORT FAULTS OR ERRORS IN THE ORDER TO US AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND REPORT DAMAGES within 3 days. We cannot accept liability for damages or errors if goods have been fitted.
IN THE EVENT THAT GOODS CANNOT BE INSPECTED ON DELIVERY THEN SIGN FOR THEM AS "UNEXAMINED"
Report damages, faults or errors to the Customer Services Manager by email or letter as per the contact details section. In the unlikely event of damage, fault or error you will be entitled to an exchange or full refund. Refunds will be made within 5 working days of our agreement to do so.
Product Guarantees
All products supplied are covered by the terms and conditions of the Manufacturers Guarantee. This guarantee specifically excludes faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or faults that can not be confirmed have not been caused by incorrect installation. In addition routine maintenance, if needed, is not covered. This does not affect any statutory rights that you may have.
Returns
Goods are not sold on a trial basis however you have 14 working days from the day of receipt of goods to notify us in writing that you wish to cancel the order.
It is your responsibility to return purchases in pristine condition in its unopened original box and packaging. You will be wholly responsible for the cost of return delivery and safe return of the goods. Subject to claim validly and correctly notified in accordance with the Acceptance of delivery paragraph of these terms, goods received back incomplete or in a damaged or used condition will either be returned to you and the cost of delivery charged to your account or we reserve the right to levy a surcharge on such returned goods at a minimum 20% of the invoice price. We will send you a goods return authorisation label and goods will not be accepted without this being attached. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of the cancellation of the goods which you can do by email to Customer services. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of the receipt of the written cancellation of the order. The returns policy applies to exchange goods which will be treated as a new order until the original goods are returned for credit as appropriate. Goods which have been made to your specification will be excluded from this returns policy. These terms only apply to goods ordered for UK delivery.
Refusal of Transaction
We reserve the right to withdraw any products from this website at any time and/or remove or edit any materials or content on this website. We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any product from this website whether or not that product has been sold; removing or editing any materials or content on the website; refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.
