Posted in Bathroom Advice — Written by Mark

When you have just made the massive step of moving into a new home, there are often a number of home improvements that are called for straight away.

Buying a house represents a significant outlay, so it is unlikely that you have the benefit of a huge budget once you have moved in, unless you have already earmarked a certain amount of cash to get the house up and running to your standards. For most people, however, it is enough to just get started on life in the new home, so the renovations can’t go too far. You can always save up and do a room at a time in more depth later on.

The bathroom

It is important to think about the rooms that absolutely have to be functional for you from the moment you move in. The bathroom is a really obvious choice and ought to take priority. After all, it isn’t going to trouble you greatly if your bedroom and living room are a little messy for a while, but if you can’t wash in comfort it’ll get you down.

Cheap bathroom suites are available – particularly via online companies – that will provide you with comfort, functionality and style without putting further strain on your finances. Shop around and see if you can’t find a suite comprising of a bath, shower, sink and fittings that is perfect to start out with.
